I like your idea because it's so inexpensive and adds extra storage space to my main Ikea (Linnmon) desk. I chose to use the screws that came with the drawers to attach them to the table (as I tend to move things around a lot) so that in the future I can move them to a different countertop or use them for something else without Leaving marks on the drawer tops or under my current table. The only criticism is that depending on how much stuff you put in the drawer, it presses against the bottom and causes more friction when opening the drawers. I might try adding some WD-40 to the drawer hinge and see if that helps make it smoother. (but honestly it's not a problem, especially at this price)
