We bought this device in connection with the replenishment in the family. After much research, the choice fell on a humidifier with a natural type of humidification, as the most understandable to me and the least energy-consuming. The humidifier operates around the clock at full power. Humidity in the room (20 sq. M.) before its purchase was less than 20%. Now from 30 to 45%. The temperature in the room is + 25-26 degrees, there is no way to reduce it, except to ventilate more often and leave a small gap, while the humidity naturally decreases. If you close all windows and doors, then you can humidify up to 60%, probably, but it will be a bathhouse, but I don’t need it. They quickly got used to the noise, it doesn’t bother anyone now, even a baby. The noise level is comparable to that of a conventional floor fan (at full power). In night mode, it is almost silent. There are a couple more modes, but I don’t see the point in them. I don't use a timer. In less than a day (20-22 hours) it evaporates all the water in the container (7 liters) at full power. If you set the night mode at night, then there will be enough water for exactly a day. A pleasant cool breeze blows from the nozzle at the top. Once I accidentally turned on ionization at night, I didn’t feel much difference. In ionization mode, the air is not humidified, either one or the other. The power cord doesn't attach very well to the humidifier socket, but I don't really care. As for the fact that the air is cleaned of dust, this is true, but it is difficult to assess the degree of purification, at the bottom of the tank there is dust and wool, everything that is sucked in through the side deflectors, and the rest of the water is yellowish. Definitely cleans the air. Conclusion, if you do not strive by any means to achieve readings on the hygrometer of 50-60% or more humidity, but you want to achieve a comfortable microclimate in the room, you are ready to put up with a relatively high noise level, pour water into it once a day (or maybe a little more often) , once a week to clean, you have a place to install it (should be on the floor and within a radius of 30 cm, preferably free), then this is your device.
