I found the directions to be easy to understand and managed to assemble this practically by myself (middle aged female). I needed help at just a few points through the process, such as getting the 4 legs up and bolted together and lifting the roof frame up into place. Everything was very well packaged, and damage to the pieces was minimal (the few dents some pieces had were easily straightened out). We got it bolted down to our patio, and its integrity was tested right away when a doozy of a storm hit our area. The gazebo survived just fine, I'm very happy with our purchase.
