I wouldn't use this with expensive products because they are really absorbent, but I mostly just use them with micellar water to cleanse my face and occasionally use another to cleanse my face to dry and it works great! If they weren't absorbent, I'd just smear micellar water, dirt, and oil all over my face instead of absorbing and rinsing them off. I got them because they fit perfectly in my small drawer without wasting space and they don't leave any lint either!
