We have used paper trays as coasters to carry our ceramic trays of food from our convection oven to our table and to prevent spills from the trays to eliminate .The paper cups protected our wooden dining table from the heat and made it easier to carry hot meals.We really didn't like using paper cups around "real" dishes and found it difficult to continue buying paper cups from the local store. Aside from the fact that we didn't like them for the way they looked, we hated spending money on them all the time so we bought these BEAUTIFUL wooden bowls and said goodbye to ugly paper bowls, these bowls are easy to hold because they're the right size have - not too big and not too small. They are so beautiful that we now store fresh vegetables from our garden in them! The price is right and the op tik is great.
