Easy plug and play remote installation (with seat belt sold separately)

This remote starter does what it's supposed to, no complaints. I did some research and found that I think this is the best option as you don't have to buy a "BLADE-AL" card or anything like that. You only need to flash the module for your specific make and model, but to do this you will need to spend extra money on either a USB cable to flash your computer or a cable for a mobile device. What makes installation even easier is to purchase a custom idatalink wiring harness for your vehicle. In my case, I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 with factory keyless entry, so the wiring harness made the installation plug and play. Once it's connected, all you have to do is follow the module's learning procedure to learn how to get it working, and that's it. Hope this helps anyone looking for a quick remote DIY start. Edit: 10 minutes later I forgot to add that the beauty of this module is that you can add more functionality to the brain. There's a security update, you can add long-range two-way remotes, and add a telematics box for keyless entry and remote start from your phone. I will personally add a Compustar security system called alarm-it as well as a Drone X1 Max for mobile reachability.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
