Very Strong for 43 " LED TV

We needed a way to elevate our 43" LED TV without wall mounting it. I chose this model because of the adjustable height. Luckily I did because the highest attachment point on the legs is perfect for our application. I was surprised at how heavy the metal was in the legs and bracket and once the TV was assembled with the screen it was very stable. (They include an anti-tip cable for attaching to the stand, but we didn't have a place to mount it; the TV is light enough that it might require a heavy thump to tip it forward.) A nice bonus is the attachment The plate can be removed from the stand and screwed to the wall, so we don't need another stand if we move to where there is enough space on the wall. A tip though: the legs of the stand may get in the way when attempting to attach the TV mount to the stand's mounting plate. The trick is to hang the TV on the laterally offset mounting plate and then move it. From there, simply tighten the two locking screws from below. (I'm guessing our VESA mount is 200mm x 200mm; narrower and wider VESA mount sizes will have no problem snagging without interference.) This is a well constructed stand, nicely finished with sturdy metal legs and a base made of tempered glass . Much stronger than I thought. Highly recommended!
