Review on 📷 HD 1080P Webcam for Mac with ELP 2.8-12mm Varifocal Lens by Stephen Lunn

Due to COVID-19 webcams are 3 times their regular price and my camera app is OctoPi so I can monitor my 3D printer, I don't need sound. That's why I chose this camera. Terrible quality. Also, OctoPi cannot reduce the framerate and I had to add `additional_brokenfps_usb_devices=("32e4:9230")` to `/boot/octopi.txt` to make it work at all. The image has green horizontal lines that blink and disappear in random places. Pooh. This rating form asks me to rate their "transparency". I don't know what it is so I think it's average. However the board is pretty thin so I'm guessing 4 stars for "thickness" lol. On the plus side, I've tested it on Mac and Linux, and in both cases no additional drivers were required. The fisheye lens adds a lot of distortion, but in my case it allows me to see almost the entire print bed, so that's a plus. I literally won't be using this camera for any other application, and TBH, when the pandemic is over and webcam prices get back to something reasonable, I'll probably replace it.
