This leather case is larger than I expected. The front panel is 12 inches wide, but when you unfold it including the sides, it's 15 inches wide. It's also 12 inches tall. It's big enough to fit in my regular purse as well as an iPad and camera. I will not use it as a wallet. But it is practical as a travel bag or shopping bag. When I got this I could smell leather. According to the label, it is genuine leather. The lining is polyester and to be honest I don't like the pattern that much. Against a brown background, orange-brown sunburst, very 1960s style. The braided strap is also reminiscent of hippies. Since the outside is leather it should hold up well.
