Review on πŸ’‘ Enhanced Tricklestar 7 Outlet PowerStrip: Advanced Technology for Ultimate Power Management by Paul Monzon

Works well with hidden "features "

I just got this unit so can't share long term testing but I've noticed a few improvements. First, as mentioned, the LEDs are quite bright. If this is a problem for you, can I recommend a piece of tape? You don't have to cover the entire LED, leave part of it visible to check functionality. In my setup, the threshold switch has a dual function. My TV draws about 175 watts, so switched outlets will activate no matter what threshold I use (low, medium, or high). When I turn on the TV, the switchable outlets turn on for 2 seconds in the down position, 3 seconds in the middle position, and 5 seconds in the up position. Disabling switched outlets is even more interesting. This means that the power consumption of the controller must drop below the threshold switch setting before the switched outputs turn off. Also on my 175w TV the high position takes 5 seconds to turn off, the middle position has a little over 20 second delay before the switched outlets turn off and the low position lasts over 1 minute and 15 seconds to turn off. This isn't necessarily a problem and can be useful for those who want a shutdown delay to allow the system to shut down gracefully. Finally, with a chuckle, I noticed a guarantee. This is referred to as a "lifetime product guarantee". This is not a lifetime product warranty as you might be able to tell from the outer packaging but more of a 10 year warranty as this is the expected lifespan of the product. Don't you like talking about marketing? UPDATE: It's April 2020 and the thing is still working fine. It has completed at least two on-off cycles every day since it went live in 2017.
