I used this on the desk my CR-10s 3D printer sits on. I use both sides, one just for the printer and the other side has two lights and a small wireless webcam to monitor the prints. I also use the USB ports to keep two charging cables handy when I need them for my phone, speakers, etc. It has been working flawlessly since the day I got it. I keep it on the back of my desk and it's held in place by a couple of large Fun-Tak pieces, allowing me to plug and unplug items without moving the device. I like that you can disable half of the ports at will and the four USB ports can be enabled or disabled.
