colors correspond to the photos in the product description. Like all 100% cotton wipes, they come out of the dryer crumpled. If you want to impress the company, you have to pet them. If you use them as everyday placemats, you can fold them in half and roll them up, and creases won't be that bad. The softness is not as soft as a cotton/poly blend and not as soft as other 100% cotton towels I have. deleted dozens of times. This allows them to soften over time. They feel more like a blend of cotton and linen: soft but slightly sparkling. When I wash towels I do NOT use fabric softener or dryer sheets so the feel of washing with any of these items may change. I do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets on napkins or towels for absorbency reasons. The colors have not faded in the wash and have not faded even after multiple washes. These napkins are great for cleaning spilled drinks off the table.
