Suitable for single use, does not last long.
I bought these to use on a recent camping trip to Grand Canyon National Park. I used them for about a half mile hike and broke three spikes. The yellow plastic piece that holds the spike to the rubber grip isn't strong at all. They improved traction, but not for long.
