This product (all air purifiers as a first time buyer one of them) I researched thoroughly before buying and as a smoker, which was my main motive and desire for an air purifier. First, like many others who would recommend to smokers, the smoker filters make a huge difference (which I also ordered). When I got the Trueair I used it most of the time, I woke up one morning and it just wouldn't turn on at all. He was dead 2 weeks. I knew it wasn't my imagination that over the course of a few days it got quieter and ran much weaker causing it to fade on me. I contacted support and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a new Trueair (I also had the option of a full refund) but after so much research I wanted to believe I had just received a faulty product. (A simple instruction was sent to return the faulty filter within 30 days, along with a promise to refund the shipping cost.) So take 2. Received the new Trueair in an impressive 48 hours and decided to use the ones supplied original filter to use it. with and this time also with aromatic packaging. (I noticed others saying it was a bad smell and being quite sensitive I turned it down the first time.) The previous product was definitely faulty from day one, the one I have now is very strong and working 24/7 and seven days a day week. , it handles regular filters pretty well and I wish the scent pack was a lot stronger and last longer as I find it really quite nice. After 5 days of regular filters, I switched back to smoking filters and noticed a significant reduction in cigarette smoke and odor. I really like the white noise, it's barely audible at low frequencies and sounds like a mid-range fan at high frequencies, but when I'm sitting right next to it it's certainly not too loud. great, and like I said, I like its white noise. I could use another one for the room I have it in (about 300 square feet) but it's a very powerful little machine and cleans the air really well. I am impressed! I am also very impressed with how the company has handled returns and shipping refunds, all as promised and very prompt in every way. My only complaint overall is the cost. I live in Canada (Revain.ca doesn't stock filters or filters) so after making the switch with Truair, the filters and shipping it was $150. So be aware that it will be difficult to get filters if you are outside of the US With so Expect, all you have to do is order more filters here. However, I plan to buy another one for my current premises and will definitely buy another one for my bedroom (non-smoking area with the door always closed, but love the feel and sound of fresh air). So with 2 more, with 3 I wish the maintenance of the filters was a little easier and more affordable but it is worth it for me and in my opinion the filters last longer than advertised. I highly recommend this purchase (to my surprise and my only review of the product), be realistic about the space you place it in and I feel very calm 'if' something goes wrong in the future I know that the warranty has now expired, fully honored, which is rare these days.
