I bought a nice watch that has a small lighted memento. I knew it was happening in a place where a plug wasn't available and I wasn't interested in running an outlet in that part of the wall. I considered rewiring the furniture for a small battery powered LED downlight but found this one instead. It's perfect for what I wanted. Using museum quality mounting putty, I attached the light fixture to the top of the cabinet. The slim profile hides it, 3 AA batteries keep the LEDs running for a long time and the light itself is slightly warm, perfect for a maple body.
