Balls don't get hot

Looks good, but that's where it ends. If you expect the balls to heat up as they should, they don't, even after leaving them on for the recommended 24 hours. I think this is a design flaw. The bulb is not high enough to heat the balloons and is too deep in the tray. I have one that I bought years ago - the bulb on top has a metal guard around the bulb so the balls sit around the metal guard covering the bulb and get hot. I would be afraid that the salt balls might break the bulb as there is no metal mesh around it.
