Started breaking after a few weeks

I bought these shoes and my little friend immediately found them comfortable, but they started breaking after a few weeks of wearing them. First of all in the area of the front fingers. I tried posting a photo but it kept giving me an error message. I don't need to buy a new pair, but I won't buy these again. The price is too high for the overall quality.

Pros

Great shoes to play with but I don't like the foam soles...it's too cheap. The foam bottom is not strong enough.

Cons

Shoes don't provide enough support or cushioning, which can be a problem for children with sensitive feet or who need extra support due to medical conditions.
