I bought this unit for $6 at my local Goodwill store. I was not disappointed. The reason I looked for the Walkman was because I was recording the mix on some new old Sony cassettes that I bought on sale. There were also some other goodies in the plastic bag I bought this device in, like two pairs of cheap headphones that come with this device, as well as a pair of premium Bose headphones. . I just have to say wow! Find yourself some decent headphones and this device will sound spectacular! However, note that the TV function has stopped working as it stopped airing a few years ago, but I was still able to catch a channel with TV. The radio worked great too. I expected my recorded tapes to sound like garbage, but I was quite surprised at how professional they sounded. Overall, this unit has great build quality, amazing sound, and exceptional bass! Yes I know it's 2017 but nobody makes high quality portable cassette players anymore and I'm really proud to own this unit. I recommend this to anyone looking for 90's nostalgia or who just wants to sit back, relax and listen to some of your favorite artists on tape.
