In the world of sequins. . .bright. . . seem to be. . . and glitter in infancy. . .It's just the opposite of that. It looks like adult shoes. . . in child form. Although kids may prefer shoes with more "pop". . . I think parents will really like them. Mesh upper for breathability. Good padding on the insole but unfortunately no arch support. There is no padding in the heel/ankle area. The sole is made of synthetic material with a thin rubber pad underneath. Almost no protector. Non-slip. Good casual shoes for every day. They are made in China.
