Very comfortable and warm. Warmer than I expected. The outer surface is smooth but quiet and not smooth. The inside is lined with short-pile microfleece. Zipper garage welcome. There are no thumb holes on the sleeves, but they are so successful that for me this is not a minus. The side pockets are deep, but my stuff pops out unless I partially close them. Especially bottles, including a soft bottle. My only real criticism is the fit/waist cut. It's a little gathered at the elastic and nicely padded around the edges, but it's so thin and the elastic is a little too gathered in my opinion. I usually wear a big top, including other ball tops. (6 feet, 210 pounds, pants 36 inches wide). I ordered XL and returned it due to the fit. I don't have a very large stomach but the fit around my stomach and waist was tight and odd. Size XXL fits well but is not really big. I suggest going at least one size up unless you are someone with a very flat stomach.
