I make soap several times a year. I find silicone soap molds to be my favorite way of making soap. That caught my attention when I tried this. This set includes washcloths and molds. I don't have to compress or crop it to fit. I need to shorten the length. For this I first tried my household scissors, it didn't work. Then I tried my heavy duty scissors. This didn't work either. Finally, I tried my serrated bread knife. That worked great for me. I have a nice clean cut. It cut through very easily. The texture of the washcloth is very comfortable. That looks like the truth. It feels like a scrub on the skin but isn't very harsh so I feel like I'm going to blush when I'm done using it. These washcloths are organic and natural. When I'm done, I can shred them up and throw them in my compost. The silicone mold is the basic silicone mold. This will make the rod just under 3 inches in diameter. According to the description, it is non-toxic. I'm not going to make soap out of these two items at once. What I like is the versatility of these two items. I can also use the soap mold for other types of soap. Washcloths can be used separately. Or I can make soap out of a washcloth that has turned into soap. The easiest way to do this is to buy soap base at your local craft store. Melt. Add essential oils. Pour the loofah into the mold. Let it be established. It's ready for a gift.
