Best Budget FPV Goggles

Honestly I didn't expect these goggles to be that good! I was initially skeptical about the 3 inch screen and the look of the clone, but I used them and was amazed at the clarity and vividness of the screen colors. These glasses are incredibly light and comfortable to wear. The face piece fits my head shape well and the foam blocks 95% of the light so that's good. These goggles appear to have been renamed VR-006, but with a single antenna, which isn't a huge loss considering how "diversified" the Eachine model actually is with just 2 SMAs connected in a Y- configuration are connected. Navigating the menu is pretty easy, but you must know the frequency of your channel as channel names are not displayed. There's an on-screen menu within the screen that shows the battery voltage of the goggles and the frequency of your signal, which can be toggled on or off in the settings menu if you find that annoying. Overall I am happy with this product at a price that would be hard to beat. The screen is smaller than the VR-007, but this is compensated for by higher resolution and image sharpness. They're great for freestyle and tiny whoops, but I wouldn't recommend them for 5" riders because while the image is clear it can seem far away at times, especially when you get close to the 180 hairpin it can be tricky to track the gate and can sometimes get disoriented. It's also worth noting that QC is far from perfect as I received a non-working device. The screen was completely white and I couldn't see the menu or anything else. Arris offered to replace it but I refused and decided to open it up and fix it. Turns out the ribbon cable between the screen and the circuit board wasn't properly connected because I reinstalled it and it worked great after that. While there, I unplugged the standard battery and changed the connection to work with an external 18650 battery, so I can't comment on the battery life or charging capabilities. It does not have a DVR, and the antenna should be replaced by an omnidirectional antenna, such as B. a pagoda to be replaced. That said, it's still a great option for starter goggles or a spare set for travel!
