The old cat likes it and he doesn't break down.
My older cat doesn't flinch when he eats this. If you're a light upchucker, you know why this is important! With other dry feeds, he always lost the first meal of the day at a young age. (To avoid this I try to give him pureed food first.) Both cats really like it too. The old man will get up to chew because I keep the bowl full in the bedroom for the night. He's very skinny despite his long hair, so hopefully this will help increase his calorie count.
