When I buy charging cables for my tablet and cellphone, I prefer cables with 45 degree connectors because they allow you to hold the tablet while charging without adding stress to the internal wiring. . Any time the cable needs to be bent severely, it will eventually wear out, which you'll notice by the ever-increasing charge time until it stops working completely and needs to be replaced immediately. I've found that I don't have to constantly buy replacement cords since discovering the right angle cords, I've only had to replace 1 in a year! This cord is good and durable. I think it's just smaller than the cables used to connect the receiver to your black phone in the days before cellular, so it'll be for permanent home use, not everyday use in my purse . It would be nice to have it in the office because it is very durable. I ordered this particular device because of its length. This device is 10 feet long, allowing me to sit where I'm comfortable while the tablet charges rather than next to an outlet. I now have a newer device that doesn't support lighting chargers so I didn't have long cables, I was happy to order a longer "C" configuration. I recommend this product.
