Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

I bought the American version (not the PCT) and was happy with everything, well, except that I strained the heating a little in everyday tasks (programming, watching videos, processing photos). By the way, the metal part above the keyboard heats up quite noticeably - the proximity of the radiator and the air duct affects it, and the upper part of the keyboard also heats up, although it does not burn your fingers. It’s hard for me to judge whether it burns my knees, because I don’t have the habit of dragging equipment around with me - I used it in stationary mode on the table as a workstation. And now, 40 days after the purchase, just at one moment, without any apparent reason, a pink vertical strip 5 cm wide across the entire screen appeared on the screen! This is despite the fact that the 2022 model allegedly already got rid of all the "childhood diseases" such as a short train and other flaws! Obviously, this is a factory defect associated with a cable or directly with a matrix - I'll take it to an authorized center, let's see what they say . This is my first Mac after 8 years on Sony Vaio and such a sad experience. I wanted to buy equipment again for 5-6 years, but it was not there. Extremely disappointed with this build quality or components. Attaching photo. Addition: I gave it for repair to an authorized service center. The poppy was returned after 10 days, the receipt indicates the replacement of the screen matrix - the entire top cover, since this part is not separable. I was pleasantly surprised that, contrary to popular belief, I did not have to restore my data from a backup - the system was not touched.

Pros
  • Performance, picture quality, weight and size characteristics, autonomy
Cons
  • heats up even under moderate load. Obviously, Apple prioritized quiet operation, so the coolers are silent until the last moment, until they start to burn up))
