i love these water shoes. They are ideal for people with slightly wide feet as they stretch very comfortably. As others have pointed out, the holes in the bottom of the shoe let water through, but if you have a pebbly beach, small rocks will get stuck in the holes. This shouldn't be a problem for most. They are extremely light and add little to the weight of your luggage when travelling. They are so comfortable that you can shop and go to restaurants in them. There is built-in support. They're not entirely flat at the bottom, which is really great. The pads are out for washing. I recently bought two more colors. They have become my favorite water boots! I wear 8.5 shoes and this size in water shoes is perfect.
