Can't say it's a heavy duty mop; It takes some work to remove stains or stuck objects from the floor, much like a wet Swiffer jet. However, the advantage of this kit is that you can use all kinds of cleaning products and you don't have to buy disposable wipes. Cloth pads are easy to change and wash well for repeated use. The handle has a handy swivel feature that makes it easy to get into those corners. Will definitely continue to be used for most situations. It hasn't been used very long so I can't comment on durability.
