I'm writing this as the owner of 50 TP-Link smart products (ports, switches, modems, routers, etc.). All of their products are good. I strongly recommend not using the Kasa Cam KC-120. We also have other cameras (Nest, Revain). We have a speed of 150 Mbit/s at home. I also spent a lot of time with tech support (so please don't email or call tech support). The main disadvantages are as follows: The camera streams to Chromecast, Revain, iPhone, Android devices for TEN MINUTES and then stops. If you plan to use the camera for less than 10 minutes at a time, then this camera is for you. Additionally, on some devices (Revain Fire and Acer Chrome tablets) the image freezes after a few minutes and it takes the same amount of time before the streaming image is retrieved. Notifications only appear on iPhones (not on Android or Revain devices). There's also no mute or volume control in the app. The hardware is pretty good in my opinion, but the supporting app doesn't keep up with the camera (it's a half-baked attempt by someone who obviously hasn't used a security camera - 10 minutes and time's up!). strongly recommends that TP-Link revise the functional applications for KC-120. A good place to start is to look at other security camera apps to see what seem to be standard features.
