This is a small light source - do not expect to illuminate large areas with it. There's nothing wrong with that - just make sure you understand that it's best to work with an area of around 10" x 10". The clip is good for gripping up to about 1.5cm. If you want to clip it on the side of the door, it's too thick. The three levels of brightness are useful, especially if you enjoy reading late at night and don't want to overdo the light intensity just before you fall asleep. .I'm not sure how valuable it is to be able to "hold out". Because the base is relatively light, it tips over relatively easily if the light source is extended too far relative to the base. The main disadvantage from my point of view is the "click" button. With several such indicators, there is no doubt that the touch button is much more convenient than the click button. I may be picky, but that really makes it less user-friendly. I wish it was clearer in the product description.
