.The inability to spontaneously create a quick playlist got me frustrated. While it's easy to scroll through "artists" and "albums", those are songs sorted by albums alphabetically, NOT track number. For albums that I insist on being played in the order they were burned to CD, I need to change the song title to include track numbers starting with the title, e.g. 01-"song title" , 02. - "song name" etc. so they can be played in the correct order. FM radio works well; All of my favorite stations are easy to tune into and they all come out loud and clear. I don't think I will ever use the video function as the screen size is too small for me. Anyway, when I decided to buy the player, I wasn't interested in the video function, so everything suits me. I added some very small text files; one with phone numbers I'd like to have on hand, another with some part numbers I'll be buying in the future. They read well, which is what I wanted to use these txt files for, but I never see myself using this feature to read txt ebooks. Again, it's the screen size that would make this a frustrating experience. In any case, I love my Kindle wireless reader, Wi-Fi, Graphite, 6-inch display with new E Ink Pearl technology too much to ever think about reading a book on this tiny player. :) I didn't add a photo so I don't know how it will appear. The album art doesn't take up the entire screen like I thought it would, so I'm wondering how much of the screen the photo will fill, but I don't plan on loading photos into the player anyway. well built and such a sweet little thing. At first I was concerned that I would have trouble with the controls since it's so small, but all the buttons and menus are easy to use. The Coby Media Manager software is a bit slow and intermittent on my PC, but my PC has been running for years so the performance of the Media Manager software on a newer and more powerful computer may not be an issue. One thing I don't like about the software is that instead of keeping a copy of my music library on my PC, it rescans every time I launch the program; and even though all my music is in one place on my pc, i have a lot of music so it takes cody media manager almost 5 minutes to fully load my pc's music information. It also takes longer than expected to transfer/sync music to an MP3 player. I could just use the old "drag and drop" method from my music folder instead of using the Cody Media Manager software as it seems to be faster to get music onto the MP3 player. Overall, despite my complaints, I think this MP3 player is a good choice for the price I paid for it. Maybe in the future I'll buy another more expensive brand with better playlist and sorting features, but for now this MP3 player will be fine for my personal main music listening. (UPDATE: 9/15/2011) " to "4 stars" as my Colby Music Player has been working flawlessly day in and day out since I bought it. I'm still a bit disappointed that I didn't have a " Playlist" option, but the manufacturer never promised this feature.
