Some assembly required

I ordered this and am still very satisfied. However, please note that some assembly is required and this can be a bit confusing. Mounting brackets are supplied piece by piece; the bracket itself, 2 guide bolts, 2 washers to put under the guide bolt so it slides into the guide, 2 nuts to secure the bolts, and 2 unknown washers or something. Also, I haven't found a way to keep the brackets from slipping unless you need to fully tighten the nuts. The visor comes with 10 screws (6 small, 4 long), 2 end caps and the visor itself. To mount the visor, don't repeat my mistake and don't read the instructions. I thought you would have to remove the stock plugs, although the visor plugs just slide over the original plugs. 6 small screws go into the small holes on the end cap and thread into the visor's grooves, and 4 long screws go into the rod end caps THROUGH the visor's end caps. I will say that the other reason it got 4 instead of 5 is that one of the long screws had a flat tip (the cross for the screw head was too far off the surface to use a screwdriver). The control unit works fine, although now I can't remove the strap. it's too cozy. I'll try again so I can install the box wirelessly. I haven't tested the AUX function yet, I need to connect my current instrument panel (from another company) to the auxiliary cable. I'm hoping I can trim the aux cable because it's too long as the dash already has a long wire about the same length as the aux. Other than that, I like it, although it doesn't fit behind my rear seat headrests. as I had hoped. The depth (front to back) is too deep. Maybe it will work if I put the headrests up. It's very bright, so bright that a visor is practically necessary, so my truck's cabin isn't a disco. (Drive a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner TRD Sport Double Cab aka Crew Cab)
