Review on 💻 20 Inch ViewSonic VA2026W Digital Computer Monitor with 1680X1050 Resolution, Wide Screen by Todd Ford

I mainly wanted a large monitor for photography. This ViewSonic monitor isn't very popular at Revain for some reason. They make quality monitors! A 20-inch monitor has a resolution of 1680 x 1050. 22-inch monitors have the same resolution, which means the images are stretched a bit to fit. That's normal, but I'm fine with a 20-inch monitor. If you're interested in 22-inch monitors, I'd definitely take a look at the ViewSonic. Main reasons to buy this monitor: 1) ViewSonic is reliable. This is my second purchase of VS.2) 20 inches for resolution quality3) Has a 1000-1 static contrast and 2000-1 dynamic contrast. So if you're just browsing the web and looking at pictures, the picture quality is Excellent Static for still and dynamic for motion 4) 0.258mm pixel pitch - for some reason this spec isn't listed 5) Supports both analog and digital signals 6) Energy Star compliant compatible 7) Very cheap price - I bought through Revain and not I have a 5 year old computer and the hardest part of my purchase was finding a graphics card that is compatible with my computer. Make sure the specs match yours computers fit, especially if you are using older hardware. If your computer uses DDR memory, you'll have trouble finding a graphics card that delivers 1680 x 1050 digital, works analog, but make sure you understand the specs. Personally, ViewSonic recommends a graphics card with a resolution of 1680 x1. 050 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. According to the manual, the maximum refresh rate is 75 Hz. A higher value will damage the monitor. One last thing: no manufacturer is going to honor warranty claims if you spray something on the monitor. ViewSonic's brochure recommends using water and dampening a clean cloth. You should always use a cloth suitable for glass. The monitor comes with a clear piece of plastic that I keep on it. Some reflections but I'm using them in a dimly lit room so the reflections are negligible. It also has a matte finish that doesn't shine or dazzle the eyes.
