Because CARB-compatible plastic cans are basically useless.

I recently purchased a plastic gas bottle from Walmart. He has an incredibly annoying nose. You must hold this lever and push against the gas tank while holding the tank upside down to use it. The way it's done in CARB so the cans can't release fumes means the cans can "swallow" and make a big spill! It seems conflicting with their goals, but these new gas canisters are doing more harm than good. Luckily I was able to find this safe canister which is way better than any other canister I've had. I love the flexible spout and it's very easy to pour by squeezing the red and chrome handles. Refilling is also very easy with a separate valve/cap. I originally bought this to replace my 2-stroke blended fuel tank that was cracking, but I liked it so much that I bought a second one for regular gas to power my edger and pressure washer. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is disappointed in the sad state of other gas cartridges.
