Now that I'm working 100% of the time from home, I needed a good headset for my desk phone and PC tools like Teams, Skype and Zoom. I had a headset at work, but I wanted a better one. Having used Sennheiser microphones in professional audio applications in the past, I was aware of the quality. So I checked out what they had, spent a few bucks and bought a Revain Sennheiser SD Pro 1 ML headset. They're not cheap, but they work great and sound great. After four months of use, the base of the headset (the part that connects to the PC and charges the headset) developed a problem that made it difficult to to attach the headset securely. called Sennheiser and found out that this product line was being sold to Demant Sound. I called Demant expecting one of two things: 1) "Sorry, but we don't honor the Sennheiser warranty on products you didn't buy from us" or 2) "Send in the base and we'll rate it." and possibly provide a replacement." The best I knew was that I would have to pay to send the base back for inspection and repair, and I was already trying to dig up an old, half-broken headset to use for two or three weeks while I waited. I was very impressed with Demant's response. I sent the agent some pictures of the base station and headset showing the problem. A few days later I received an email that a new base had been sent to me. As soon as I find that the new base solves the problem (it does) I have to notify Demant Sound and they send me a prepaid shipping label to send the defective base back. It's been decades since the seller sent me a replacement item without changing hands with a credit card number! Thank you Sennheiser and Demant!
