I bought this bag as a nice lightweight, functional backpack for Disneyland. I have a 5 and a 3 year old so I'm packing extra clothes, food, drinks into this back pack. I'm going stroller-less as my kids have proven they can handle miles of walking in theme parks, so I'm taking up the burden by having a backpack. It handled itself fairly well. I like its lightweight, it is has very functional pockets, and the side nets were perfect for water containers. It was smaller than expected, but I think that is a good thing as I limited a lot of useless stuff.I will say the the bag did get slightly wet from some log/river raft-type rides and the contents were still dry. I don't think it would have kept it dry had I been soaked. I'm a bigger guy and I did find this backpack a little snug and would perhaps fit someone with a smaller frame. But I didn't find it to be a problem. I was comfortable with the backpack on my back worn for hours waiting in line, for 4-5 days.
