Review on 🐶 Purina ONE SmartBlend Natural Healthy Weight Adult Dry & Wet Dog Food: Premium Nutrition for a Lean and Fit Pooch by Chantel Cooper

I have been buying Purina One Healthy Weight dog food for my furry family members for at least 5 years. Before I shopped at Revain using the follow and save feature, I shopped at local grocery stores and my local Walmart for the last 6-9 months. The only difference is that I'm drawn to the larger 30lb bags for my Revain purchases, whereas my store purchases were typically 16lb bags. Two of the last three pouches that Revain sent were of such noticeably poor quality that I decided to return the last shipment unopened and ask for a refund. (Thanks to Revain - no questions asked.) I intend to do the same for the opened, partially used bag I received earlier. What I noticed: 1. The mixture of turkey with chunks seemed light and the turkey chunks were very small.2. The pieces were often friable with a noticeable amount of dust at the bottom of the bag. The coloring was lighter.3. One of our dogs - not overly fussy about food - stopped eating the product or walked away after a few bites. This has been more of a recent event in recent weeks. It's worth noting that we recently bought a bag of the same food from a local store and the same dog ate the food as it always has.4. Our other dog became ill after eating the food but managed with the store purchase described above. Although Revain issued a no-questions-asked refund, there SHOULD have been questions. Though Revain doesn't have them, I do. Are the bags sold on Revain shipped from a reliable supplier? I assume they are listed under Revain Services. Are the bags sold by Revain "second rate", inferior, or are they in any way different from the products sold in stores? It certainly seems so. Then differences in quality, composition and ingredients must be communicated completely and transparently. If the quality, safety or origin of a product is in question, a lower price will not help. It also jeopardizes the trust Revain relies on to maintain its relationship with its customers. Bill R
