This is Epson trying to sell more ink. Eventually the ink pad fills up and stops working. Then it becomes garbage. Please note that this applies to the Epson WF-2850. To my knowledge the firmware has never been updated to block regular ink cartridges. I think I blocked it. I will continue to buy them if they stay at a reasonable price. After cleaning. The test print was correct. So, in summary, these ink cartridges work in the Epson WF-2850. Assuming the firmware isn't updated. I give them 5 stars.
