The material is quite dense. I placed the cover on the roof in an unfolded form. I unfolded the cover until I found the front label. I slowly began to unfold the cover and lay it end to end. I recommend finding most 90 degree angles and starting at that end and working the bill up to the slanted end if you have an end that isn't square. Fold the sides over the sides of the trailer, making sure to center the cover evenly on both sides of the trailer. The included straps are long and short. 4 short trailer ends. (Don't mix them up like I did.) Weighted clips are great for flipping straps. Great item with added value! If you have a hollow tube to put the weighted end in, it's very easy to get the strap where you want it. I found the ends of the lid to be a bit loose for my application. I crossed the lines to try and pull up the excess material. All in all a very good case!
