I have made 130 masks that I have given away since Covid-19 hit our state. My masks have changed for a few months. I do not insert nose wire or add these cord adjusters to the elastic band so the masks can be lengthened or shortened to suit each person's needs. There is a large hole on one end of the rubber caps and a small one on the other. They easily attach to the 1/8" wide elastic through the large hole and the small hole then holds them firmly to the elastic, but you can still slide them back and forth. to adjust the elastic to the desired length. My only problem is that I didn't get all 100! It often happens with such consumables. I suspect they're probably made in China, but that's an educated guess.
