We stayed for a few days with our kids and some of their cousins , 5 kids under 4 and they could all easily understand how to use theirs , to clean. They were happy to show us what they were drawing and asked us to draw something for them. The biggest plus was that everyone lined up on the floor with their tablet and drew what they liked. We also have a Boogie-branded tablet and while it looks and performs better than this, we definitely still think it's worth the lower price point. Has held up to abuse much better than we thought when we first got our hands on it. One of the first batches had its surface damaged, but that was because the kid had damaged it with something pretty hard. Still, it could be used, but where there are scratches, the pattern is not so accurate.
