Assembly takes a while but is not difficult.Solid structure, no worries about it tipping over. Which is good because my 13lb cat thinks this is his new cat tree. To be frank, it may end up being that, since it looks better and is sturdier than a real cat tree and is easier to clean. He would like the top shelf to be a tad wider, but I cannot fault this as it is made for plants and not chonky cats. I might screw a basket onto the top.Enough fo that, this is for plants and it works very well for them. My one concern is that this is particle board and that does not tend to do well when wet. If you see any scratches or nicks on it you need to cover them with something waterproof. I would actually have preferred plastic here, or real wood.The metal is solid and powder coated.Overall, pleased with this for the cost.
