Advantages: The material becomes softer with washing, but does not lose its color design. Cons: The seam at the end of the cuff folds over and needs ironing after EVERY WASH to keep it flat. I tried taking it out of the dryer before it was dry and straightened it out and laid it on the counter to continue drying, but the clogged edge still curled up again. I hate trying the iron on for just one baby pillowcase, so it's probably just going to be put in the stack just in case. It's a shame, because we liked everything else.
