I have been modifying laptops lately and so far they are absolutely perfect for my needs. There are plenty of attachments and pliers for just about any purpose you might need, as well as an anti-static wrist strap to keep your gear safe from damage. I'm sure their very fine ends will wear down with repeated use, but I have a feeling that anything will, no matter the price range. The only thing that bothers me is the quality of the magnet on the screwdriver. That's not very good and defeats the purpose of something like this. Since the parts are so small that they can easily be lost while working, it's important to properly remove them for safekeeping. And just generally safely remove them. You can't handle an electronic device with a delicate inner workings; that's how you destroy them.
