I work in the ambulance and use a sleeping bag when I work the ward at night. I woke up with terrible shoulder/back pain and was contemplating getting a gel mattress pad for my bunk when I risked this little pillow. I'm so glad I did! I will also use it for travel but it has changed my work life 100%. And I have to say it's not as small as I thought it would be and I love the handy zipped pouch it comes in. Conclusion: I can only recommend this pillow. It's big enough to be comfortable, yet small enough to be carried around, and the memory foam/gel material it's made of is the perfect combination of support and softness.
