We tried to make a home theater in the children's room. My kids had so much fun with it. It works great with all HDMI devices and plays media from USB. Also works with any smartphone, but the HDMI cable for the phone must be purchased separately. The picture is bright enough that you don't need total darkness to watch a show. The sound quality of the projector is not very good. This is what is expected of a projector. However, this is easily fixed by connecting a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar. This is not a home theater projector. However, I am very happy with the price, size, quality and ease of connection. Highly recommend to families and friends for indoor and outdoor fun.
