The stand works very well. It seems to be the perfect balance between strength and weight/mass. That said, it's fairly compact and light, but still feels just as solid as many of the bulkier racks I've seen. My only complaint is that it's a small setup and move reward. The top mounts (where your laptop sits) are not connected to the stand mounts, which are below. That means you have to use more force than you want every time you try to lift it or adjust your hands. This would be the perfect stand if the arms connected to the rail/rail somehow. But beyond that, they hit the nail on the head.
