I really like the built-in rack. Once I figured out what tools I needed, things went very quickly. However, it is somewhat difficult to determine the correct pilot hole size based on the size of the lag screw (12mm). I contacted support and they immediately suggested I go to my local hardware store and ask for help. We both calculated that we would need 5/16 bits, which was too much. Home Depot gave me some smaller bits and I tested them on a piece of wood to determine the correct size - problem solved. Sorry I forgot to get the bit size to tell you. It would be great if the installation instructions were a little clearer on the size of the bit required. I used a drill/screwdriver and took care of the pilot holes and tightened the screws well. I figured I would have to rent separate equipment, but Mikita's cordless drill handled both. To be honest, the hardest part was inserting the cleats. Much luck.
