I live south of Mobile Alabama here in the Panhandle. I was amazed by the sound quality and the clarity of the channels. I get great reception and use it with an AC plug or type D batteries. I'm tired of turning off my streaming channels and having to talk to the system. Transistor radios were the best invention. Just turn the knob and go. I arrived in San Antonio, Texas at 12:00 PM, 6:00 PM. Joe Pax pointing 663 miles west of me, WOW. All locals can easily get within a 60 mile radius. It was a great purchase at a reasonable price.
