I use this to put a light coat of oil on my straight razor after I shave. It works much better than those sold specifically for this purpose and costs about 1/5 the cost. Tip: leave it on its side for a few days after the first filling so that the oil can soak into the tip. After that, leave it in a vertical position (cap up); Otherwise, too much oil will be poured out during use.
