First of all I didn't expect to get a flagship tablet for the price I paid. But this tablet performs and feels like a premium flagship tablet, it's the best product I've spent this year. I bought this tablet primarily to use as a bedside e-reader that doubles as a media consumption device. The tablet came in an orange box with minimal branding. Inside the box is a 10.1-inch tablet, a USB-C charging cable and adapter, a user guide, and a SIM eject tool. The SIM card removal tool was unexpected as this tablet does not have a SIM tray, but this is normal and likely to be overlooked. I was surprised by the build quality and form factor of this tablet, it looks and feels like the Galaxy Tab S except for the slightly larger top and bottom bezels. The rounded edges are comfortable to hold and give the tablet a modern look. I love that this tablet has a headphone jack, which comes in handy when you need it. The tablet came with a plastic screen protector pre-installed, but I removed it because it has small bubbles and I like to use the tablet with nothing else on the screen. The initial setup was quick and easy, which is typical of a clean Android system. This tablet comes with vanilla Android, no malware, which is really great for a clean install. After updating and installing my favorite apps, I was already reading my e-books in them. The resolution and quality of the display is excellent enough to see text clearly without reading glasses. The quality of this tablet's display is excellent, with vivid colors that are great for watching videos. The audio on this tablet is surprisingly loud and great for watching movies, but the audio lacks a bit of bass. So if you're playing bass, you can use an external speaker or headphones. The 8-hour battery life isn't the best, but it works great to get you through the day. Reading a few books, watching Hulu TV with about 4 hours of screen time, and a little bit of occasional browsing left me with only about 15% battery before sleeping and charging. If I have only one problem, it's that I can't find a dedicated flip case for this tablet. But that's ok, since I use it to read e-books most of the time, I only get a regular tablet case. Overall, I like this tablet in terms of quality and performance. The looks and build are comparable to premium flagship tablets. Highly recommended.
